 Giving & Volunteering
The VNA is committed to serving patients who need our care. About 85 percent of VNA patients are covered by Medicare, so VNA services are accessible and affordable. However about 10 percent of our patients are frail elders with financial challenges or persons with disabilities. Because they are homebound, access to community resources is their number one problem - especially if they do not hav family or friends nearby who can help. That's where generous support from the community can help.
The VNA is a not-for-profit organization, so our only investment is our service to patients! Charitable contributions from individuals, foundations and businesses help the VNA go above and beyond to deliver superior care. These contributions can:
- Provide bereavement and spiritual care services
- Train and place skilled volunteers to help hospice patients and their families
- Provide special education for clinicians and home health aides to better respond to each patient's needs
- Improve our technology
- Respond to patient emergencies
- Offer community education programs
Ways to Give
There are many ways to give, now and in the future: gifts of cash, stock or through estate planning.
- Click here to make a tax-deductible gift securely online
- Click here to download a gift form to include with your check or money order
Both options allow you to make a memorial contribution to remember a loved one who has passed away, or a commemorative gift to celebrate a milestone birthday, anniversary or other special occasion.
Our annual event, Treasures of Cleveland, showcases how or services enhance the community, as well as highlighting other "treasures" in our community. Click here to see last year's event highlights.
All gifts are deeply appreciated, and are usually tax deductible. For information, including how to include VNA in your will, please call Catherine Ciha at 216-931-1366 or e-mail
