Over 100 years ago, thirteen young Cleveland women met to form an organization that pioneered a new concept - community health nursing. In 1902, Visiting Nurse Association of Cleveland was born.
VNA grew and thrived. By the late 1990’s, VNA was providing expert home healthcare and hospice services to more than 12,000 families every year in nine counties in Northeast Ohio. In 1999, we expanded our service area to include 12 counties in Central Ohio – and the VNA located in Mid-Ohio was born.
Today, we are Visiting Nurse Association of Ohio. With a staff of over 700 health care professionals, we serve counties throughout Northeast and Central Ohio. While the range of our services has expanded and the size of our organization has grown, we remain committed to providing innovative, high-quality home healthcare to all people.
